The favourite gave him a race, but they were miles clear of the rest and he looks the one to side with under his penalty, given then much-improved performance and the relative paucity of opposition now. Arquebusier looks next-best though stamina may be a concern for him while Bodekin Point has shown some promise in two runs for his yard and is being cut some slack by the assessor.
