Stable have a good record in bumpers (7-40 since 1997; never had a runner here in this sphere). Won with authority on her debut at Taunton last year on heavy; twice beaten (runner-up) under a penalty since; clear claims once again.

Third foal whose dam was well beaten in bumpers. Yard not really known for their bumper runners going 1-34 in the last five years (1-10 this season) with no debutante winners. Others make more appeal than this one on debut.
Second run for this yard after making her debut for John Wainwright in a first-time hood at Sedgefield. She was under pressure a fair way out but stayed on to take a remote third; would have to make significant progress to land this.
The jockey booking is an eye-catching one as this Arcadio mare makes her debut with a hood on. Yard not had a debut bumper winner 0-6 (0-9 overall) but she is a half-sister to a couple of fair sorts; market support would prove interesting.

Half-sister to four winners including the useful hurdler Norfolk Sky with the dam a winner over 1m4f. Has looked limited on the evidence of her two runs so far and the hood worn on her debut returns.

Trainer has a good record when bringing his runners North although this one offered little on her debut at Taunton; left behind quickly after leading to the end of the back straight. First bumper runner at the track for the yard.

From a stable that has been doing well of late and has a very respectable 17% strike-rate in bumpers. First bumper runner at the track since 2013 she kept on well enough to take fourth in a 1m4f junior bumper at Wetherby; suited by increased trip.
Stable 1-31 with their bumper debutantes this Network filly is out of a mare who was a winner over fences at up to 3m and a half-sister to Sprinter Sacre. Interesting newcomer who is one to note for a market move.

Forecasts

Miss Heritage (1/1), Figarella Borget (3/1), Eleanor Bob (4/1), Slave To Love (7/1), Fair Sheriff (28/1), Bella Beau (28/1), Molly Whuppie (50/1), Andorns Legacy (150/1)

Verdict

Not an overly strong mares’ bumper with the standard being set by Miss Heritage although she has now twice failed to carry a penalty and that may just leave the door open for one of the newcomers or ELEANOR BOB who should improve over this trip. Her fourth first time out is a fairly modest piece of form but she will be suited by the extra distance here. Both Slave To Love and Figarella Borget are interesting newcomers the former on account of the jockey booking and the latter on her pedigree – market support for either would be revealing.
  1. Eleanor Bob
  2. Miss Heritage
  3. Slave To Love
