Limerick bumper winner (2m2f, heavy) who kicked off his career for Harry Whittington with a second placed effort at Chepstow in November (2m, good to soft); has shown a similar level of ability since and ought to go close.
Without a win over hurdles (0-8) but appreciates cut in the ground and is a proven stayer; back on song with a solid front-running shift at Ludlow (2m5f maiden) latest - only grabbed close home by Morning Vicar.
Runner-up in a Boulta PTP (3m, soft) in December 2018; has started at massive prices and shown precious little on both subsequent outings for this trainer (2m3f+ to 2m6f).
Consistent at his own level without threatening to necessarily win a race anytime imminently; yet to prove that he stays (untested) beyond an extended 2m3f; rates as an unlikely winner.
Hexham PTP winner in December 2018; finished runner-up on rules debut at Kelso in December (2m6f+) - booked for third until the dramatic departure of Sam's Adventure; showed that was no fluke with another fair run at Ayr latest.
Very lowly-rated on the Flat (25) and truthfully looks to be devoid of ability; miracle required on hurdles debut; doubtful stayer.
Scorpion mare who failed to complete in four starts in PTP's, regularly let down by her jumping; well beaten at odds of 250/1 on stable/rules and hurdles debut at Carlisle (2m3f+) last month; couldn't be entertained.
Forecasts
Juge Et Parti (8/15), Jammy George (2/1), Uptown Harry (12/1), Rollerruler (33/1), Dutch Melody (200/1), Try It You (200/1), Moon Rua (250/1)
Harry Whittington sent Saturday's Premier Hurdle winner Rouge Vif on the long journey north to Newcastle in January to justify the odds in a 2m novices' hurdle, and he looks set for another winner today in the shape of JAMMY GEORGE. Proven on a soft surface this 6yo has shown a solid level of form over hurdles and despite being untested over this kind of trip his pedigree offers plenty of hope that he'll stay (dam was an unraced half-sister to the staying chaser Mumbles Head). The Nigel Twiston-Davies trained Juge Et Parti is the most logical danger on form and official ratings.
- Jammy George
- Juge Et Parti
- Uptown Harry
