Won twice last summer but handicapper seemingly had measure since. Sixth at Ffos Las latest a fair run over 2m4f but still a few doubts even with handicapper easing the burden.
Yet to make the frame in six career starts and beaten a long way latest at Ascot. Cheekpieces now tried but need to make dramatic difference.
Yet to win over hurdles but second four times including latest 12L defeat in a 3m Taunton handicap. Gets 1lb back for that so once more has to enter calculations and placed effort again more than likely.
Last win came in the 2016 Midlands National but he's failed to complete almost fifty per cent of his subsequent starts. Well handicapped but latest start suggests his enthusiasm might be waning.
Market Rasen winner in February 2017 over 2m2½f on soft going off mark of 109. Was absent more than a year afterwards but shaped well (second) at Uttoxeter in May. Questionable efforts since though and safer to bypass.
Improved effort when stepped up to 3m1f latest at Carlisle as he gained a first career success. 8lb rise makes life tougher here but still quite unexposed as a stayer so not ruled out.
Unplaced in six starts to date and although quite well fancied he could only finish midfield latest in first handicap at Newcastle. More needed here.
After two thirds he took his form to new levels latest when a narrow second of 13 at Warwick. Upped 5lb for that effort so life only gets tougher but that first race since July so open to more improvement and highly respected.
C&D breakthrough two starts back before struggling here next on heavy ground. Perhaps that can therefore be forgiven now and gets 2lb back which is beneficial. Certainly one of the more likely sorts here.
Maybe there was a hint of what was to come when he won on his bumper debut despite not looking straightforward. Majority of his hurdles runs have been blighted by quirky behaviour; ran well enough last time but hard to trust overall.
Hinted at ability without seriously threatening the last twice at Taunton but now upped quite significantly in trip which might just help. Plenty to prove but one of the more interesting runners.
Five-time winner scored twice last summer but struggled since. Tailed off at Plumpton latest and hard to fancy now.
Upped 4lb here for narrow Lingfield win over this distance; a career first. Up in grade now so improvement required but could easily be that he is now progressing.
Relatively well handicapped on very best form . Solid claims on the merits of the gelding's latest start when finishing fourth in similar company at Kempton. Poor recent completion rate can boost his odds for a place.

Fiendishly difficult this one but preference is for recent C&D winner VANGO DE VAIGE whose latest effort on bottomless ground can be forgiven. March Is On ran his best race to date latest and rates a danger as does Farm The Rock whose bid for a hat-trick came up short latest.
