Won a 2m5f novice hurdle here in 2016 and a useful novice chaser last year when scoring at Carlisle and finished third in a Grade 2. It's been pretty much all downhill since then, including on his recent return from a wind op. Plenty to prove.
10lb higher than when getting her nose in front at Hexham (4m, soft) two starts ago. Ran well from this mark over a similar trip last time at Kelso, but not sure she has the required improvement in her to win this.
Has not seen much action for an eight-year-old, but won two hurdles and then scored with some authority at Wetherby (3m, good to soft) in Boxing Day. Another good effort in defeat last time, unexposed and a player here.
Scored at Fakenham (2m5f, good) and then here over C&D (good to soft) in January, the latter when 7lb lower. Matched that effort back at Fakenham last time and could be more to come. Contender.
Last win came over two years ago and his form since then has been inconsistent. Long in the tooth and even if at his best, he may still be found wanting.
Has enjoyed a resurgence for this yard, winning 4-5 over fences. Up another 7lb for his latest Catterick success, but well worth short-listing in his present mood.
Seeking a hat-trick after success over C&D and then at Market Rasen, both on soft. Up another 7lb, but had plenty in hand last time, and should go close again.
Forecasts
Sideways (9/4), Dartford Warbler (3/1), Moving In Style (7/2), Inchcolm (6/1), Carrigdhoun (10/1), Total Assets (16/1), Ballycrystal (16/1)
Dartford Warbler will be a tough nut to crack back here after another 7lb rise. He looks a threat to the selection MOVING IN STYLE, who is unexposed and, along with Sideways, probably has a bit more improvement to come. Inchcolm is another with claims in a competitive heat.
