Off the mark over the larger obstacles landing an Ayr novice handicap chase last month when ridden clear on the run-in to win by 4L. Permitted to run off a 2lb lower mark back on home soil and a leading player here.

Won a Down Royal handicap chase on penultimate start in November 2017 over similar trip. Fifth of eight beaten 7L in a Fairyhouse handicap following a 449 day break in January. Worthy of consideration on second start back.

One from nine over fences with her sole win coming 12 months ago in a Fairyhouse novice handicap chase over 2m. Last of nine beaten 74L when last seen in September in a Ballinrobe handicap hurdle. Looks opposable.

Solid and consistent sort who has hit the frame in each of his six starts over the larger obstacles including two wins over 2m2f and 2m3½f in December. Form solid and fancied here.

Yet to make the frame but some tough assignments meeting Grade One performers Footpad and Al Boum Photo along the way. Well held in two starts in November and hasn't shown enough to be of interest here.

Three from 16 over fences and ran a plausible third of seven over a similar trip at Thurles last month beaten 7¾L. Can go well but may find one or two better suited to today's conditions.

Forecasts

Seskin Flyer (2/1), Veinard (10/3), Shrewdoperator (9/2), Crazywork De Vassy (11/2), Head Turner (7/1), Nomanbehind (8/1)

Verdict

The Gordon Elliott-trained VEINARD can follow up his facile win at Ayr last month bagging the prize allowed to run off a 2lb lower mark back on home soil. The solid and consistent Seskin Flyer who has hit the frame in each of his six starts over the larger obstacles including two wins over 2m2f and 2m3½f in December can proceed to be a plausible danger along with distance winner Crazywork De Vassy who can claim a minor honour.
  1. Veinard
  2. Seskin Flyer
  3. Crazywork De Vassy
