Salisbury winner last May disappointed next at Goodwood in June but high head carriage suggested something perhaps amiss. Interesting to see how she fares here after a lengthy break but certainly can't be dismissed.

Promising fifth in lone two-year-old start but only ran once last season when a slightly disappointing third of five. Lengthy absence again since but represents top and prolific yard so expect him to be ready to do himself justice.

Newcomer by Noverre half-brother to two winners including useful Arnold Lane. Never ran for John Gosden so suspect watching brief wisest course of action here.

Harbour Watch colt finished seventh in both starts to date at Pontefract and more recently here. Not seen enough in either to put him forward with any confidence.

Showed modest level of form in three recent bumpers with the most recent a sixth of 10 at Kelso. Would be surprised if he has the requisite speed for such a contest.

Made the running and ran pretty well on debut here in a 2m bumper eventually finishing fourth beaten 3L. This a considerably greater test of speed so may find life tougher but place a possibility.

Remains a maiden but become quite consistent placing three times including latest third on this surface at Wolverhampton. Sure to give another good account and will capitalise if other principles need the run.

Second here in an AW bumper to start career but lesser effort next at Doncaster when last of seven in a deeper contest. Drop in trip might help but surprise if she makes the frame.

Forecasts

Allieyf (1/1), Charles Kingsley (9/4), Beauty Salon (7/2), Tamreer (10/1), Captain Scott (25/1), Harbour Bay (25/1), Kaizer (50/1), Put The Law On You (66/1), Bravantina (100/1), Nicky Nook (100/1)

Verdict

A few of the principles here have questions to answer including CHARLES KINGSLEY who disappointed last time out. Mark Johnston's charge however was racing after a layoff there and had impressively won at Beverley in the summer on debut so is given a chance to redeem himself here. Also a little disappointing latest was Allieyf but William Haggas' runner certainly merits respect based on his two starts so far. Tamreer like the selection has already won a race and merits respect therefore.
  1. Charles Kingsley
  2. Allieyf
  3. Tamreer
