Fibresand debutante who has now run twice at Newcastle failing to come on for his debut last time went back at 7f for his second outing. Needs to make some progress now up against three useful sorts; needs this run for a handicap mark.
Trainer has superb strike-rate at the track (39%; 1-6 with his debut runners). By Paco Boy who has a 10% strike-rate with his progeny out of a dam who was a winner at up to 1m6f. Likely to be well found in the market; bold bid expected.
Improved on his second start (7f, Kempton) having looked a longer-term project on debut over 1m at the same venue. Upped to 1m2f last time he was easy to back and ran no sort of race; now back to 1m and making his Fibresand debut.
Offered very little on his sole run so far over 1m at Newcastle (150-1) being left well behind by the principals. Now switched to Fibresand but the only brief can be a watching one.
Showed a little ability on her first start but hardly improved for that initial run over 1m at Newcastle last time; looked a little one paced last time. Stable are in excellent form though; can't be ruled out if handling this surface.
Sire statistics don't make this venue an ideal one for this daughter of Epaulette to make her debut. First foal of an unraced dam she's likely to need this initial experience.
A sister to several winners she showed very little on her debut over 1m2f at Lingfield beating just one home and never travelling well. Now makes her Fibresand debut with the sire (Phoenix Reach) having only a modest record here.
The most experienced runner in this field she's been easy to back and run below-par in her last two starts back from a break. Placed efforts before that showed she had ability and by a sire (Harbour Watch) with a good record on Fibresand.

Not a particularly strong heat made more complicated by the fact that none of the leading players have any experience on this surface. COPPER AND FIVE comes from a yard with a very strong record here though and their debut runners have generally performed well. Stay Forever is by a sire with a 9-41 record here so this may be the perfect surface for her to put two below-par runs behind her having already gained a handicap mark of 70. Al Daayen comes from a yard that are flying at the moment and can’t be ruled out despite having a little to find on form. Little Rock and Beresford two others making their debut on this surface will do better in handicaps.
