Elmono⁵⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: Blair Campbell⁽⁵⁾| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR: 117| CD

7/4

Consistent and gained due reward for those efforts with a game win over C&D last time out, despite the odd mistake on the way around. Up 4lb asks a bit more of him, but clearly conditions suit, and has chances of the follow-up.

Just Minded^p,t⁵⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 11-8| J: R Johnson| T: O Murphy| OR: 117

13/8

Turned in another solid effort when second to Elmono here last time, and 4lb pull in the weights gives him every chance of turning it around. Needs good ground so conditions fine, and might have a bit more improvement in him yet.

Form: P342-42

Henry's Joy^p⁵¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 117| C

7/2

Had looked to have found his level but did force his head in front over half a mile shorter here last time out. 3lb rise and upped in trip both make more demands on him, and he may not be as progressive as one or two here.

Form: 7-25231

King Golan^p¹²³

Age: 8| Weight: 10-5| J: Sean Quinlan| T: Kenny Johnson| OR: 100

9/1

In flying form at present, making all and jumping well to score at Kelso on last two starts. Upped 15lb since last being seen and has had a break, plus needs to show he's as good right-handed, but it all looks to have clicked now. Chances.

Forecasts

Just Minded (13/8), Elmono (7/4), Henry's Joy (7/2), King Golan (9/1)

A tight little handicap where none of the four can be safely ruled out. There's little to choose between Just Minded and ELMONO on their running here in January but the latter was game in victory there and can confirm the form, despite being slightly worse off at the weights. Henry's Joy needs to start progressing again and King Golan might prove a bigger thorn in their sides. He gets plenty of weight and if allowed his own way up front, will need to be caught.
