Showed some ability in three starts in novice hurdles and improved a bit in first start in a handicap last June. Not seen since and has changed yards, but should stay and worth a look in the market.

Second to No No Juliet at Fontwell two starts ago a fair effort, but didn't follow that up at Plumpton last time. Upped in trip, which may help, but needs to bounce back now.

Multiple point-to-point winner, will stay every yard of this and more and looks feasibly treated on stable debut here. Handles all ground and any money for her needs noting, despite the absence.

Early days in his career, and in good hands, so could improve but stopped rather quickly at Uttoxeter last time and now goes up significantly in trip. Plenty to prove at present.

Was running well enough when last seen, three times in the frame over this sort of a trip but that was back in 2017 and he may well need this. Yard going well, though, so worth a second look of there's some market support.

Point-to-point winner back inn 2017, shown little so far but not totally disgraced last time and better ground here (and longer trip) may help. Yard like to land the odd gamble, so watch market closely for a clue.

No win in 13 starts and already looks regressive. Needs some improvement from somewhere and hard to see why she should do any better today.

Just a glimmer of ability on latest start, one that suggests there could be a race in her somewhere down the line. Step up in trip should help and yard finally had a winner for the month on Saturday.

Hadn't shown a lot until a much better effort in first handicap start at Carlisle last time out, worn down late on after looking the winner two out. Same mark here, tongue strap added and a repeat of that makes him a big player.

Good effort at Hereford two starts ago but a most disappointing favourite at Lingfield last time, and hard to find an excuse for that. Early days, so could do better, but something to prove after that.

Done little in five starts to suggest he's up to winning this, but was only sent off 5-1 on handicap hurdle debut last time so better was clearly expected. Worth a quick glance in the market again.

Forecasts

Urtheonethatiwant (3/1), Mid Day Gun (7/2), Derrick D'Anjou (4/1), General Picton (4/1), Arqalina (5/1), Miss Gotaway (8/1), Mac Bella (10/1), Realt Or (12/1), Presenting Lucina (12/1), Mansion (16/1), Cornelius Socks (20/1), Point Of Departure (20/1), He Is Rosy (25/1)

Verdict

Low-grade stuff to kick off with. URTHEONETHATIWANT has attracted money on both his last couple of starts and came good at Kempton last time out, looking a much improved performer. He can go on a run before the handicapper catches up with him. Mid Day Gun was another to run better last time, and might be able to take another step forward now the tongue-tie is added to the cheekpieces. He looks the danger. Plenty of these need a look in the market though, with He Is Rosy and Cornelius Socks heading that list.
