Grade 3 winner at Punchestown before two respectable runs upped in class towards the end of last year. Fourth of 13 beaten 10L in a Leopardstown handicap earlier this month. Holds entries in the Grade 3 Grand Annual and one to have onside.
C&D winner of this contest 12 months ago but seriously out of form in a number of starts since. Expected to make a big defence of his crown before heading to the festival.
Lightly raced son of Lavirco who has clearly has his problems. Well held on his second run in 12 months at Fairyhouse last month and difficult to make a case for.
Second of five beaten 4½L in a Grade 3 contest over C&D in November. Has disappointed since but repeat of that form should see him in the hunt for prize money.

A chance is taken with course winner that has also won over this trip in TYCOON PRINCE who was left to finish second by the fall of Footpad over C&D in November finishing behind St Calvados. Cadmium from the Willie Mullins yard and Tycoon Prince's stablemate Doctor Phoenix are big dangers here with the latter defending his crown following his 13L win here last year.
