120-rated novice hurdler who has switched to chasing this term running well in defeat on debut at Galway in September. Well held in a couple of starts in October but looks to be one of the more likely types here.
Without a win in five starts over the larger obstacles but ran well in defeat earlier this month in a Leopardstown handicap finishing second of 14 beaten ½L. Holds Grand Annual and Close Brothers handicap chase entries and well fancied here.
Modest 95-rated handicap hurdler, usually seen running over longer trips than this. Best watched on chasing debut unless any market move suggest otherwise.
Pulled up at Bellewstown before half-way when something clearly amiss but finished 57L adrift of the winner next time out in September in a Listowel handicap hurdle. Well held in sole chase start in last July and others preferred.
Left a moderate fourth on chasing debut in a Thurles beginners contest earlier this month finishing 31L behind the winner, Ex Patriot. Open to improvement and one to monitor in the market.
Generally a poor hurdler who made no impression after three out on chasing debut at Clonmel earlier this month eventually beaten 75L. Hard to place any faith in.
Forecasts
Dakota Moirette (1/2), Aint Dunne Yet (7/2), Graineyhill (12/1), Global Racing (12/1), Turbo (12/1), Payngo (25/1), Last Garrison (66/1)
The Gordon Elliott stable has a 30% strike rate at this meeting in the last four years and his DAKOTA MOIRETTE can improve on stablemate Veinard's place in this contest 12 months ago. The six-year-old can improve on a promising second of 14 in a Leopardstown handicap chase earlier this month. Stablemate Graineyhill and Noel Meade's Aint Dunne Yet can follow the selection home.
