Has appeared to struggle a little over 6f and his new mark since winning over C&D in December off a 6lb lower mark. Not easily dismissed back running over this trip.
Behind Lapilli and Tyrconnell at the beginning of the month over 6f for previous yard. C&D winner back in December 2017 off a 9lb lower mark. May need a few of these to falter but first-time cheekpieces on stable debut could spark improvement.
Lightly raced filly who finished second of 14 beaten ½L over C&D last month on her fourth career start following a number of disappointing starts over longer trips. Can be expected to improve.
Finished behind a few of these earlier this month but the gelding Holy Roman Emperor had shown solid and consistent form in defeat over C&D in a number of starts since November. Not easy to discount.
Distance winner of a Down Royal handicap last summer and ran a couple of decent races in defeat over C&D since returning to action last month. Gives the impression we may not have seen the best of her yet on this surface.
Distance winner but has only prevailed over the trip on one occasion from 10 starts. Not seen since finishing 11th of 13 over C&D in November. Others preferred.
21-race maiden on the Flat and is without success in three starts over C&D. Ran well in defeat when 1L behind Victorious Secret last month finishing third of 14. More consistency needed before consideration.
Filly by Frozen Power out of a Diesis mare. Will need to improve on four gloomy career starts to date including heavy defeats over C&D in the last couple of months. Likely to find it tough going here.
Filly by Red Jazz out of a Invincible Spirit mare. Improvement needed on four career starts here since debut in December including substantial defeats over C&D. Others make more appeal.
Winner of one of his three starts over C&D though that was over 12 months ago off a 2lb higher mark. Well held since and is likely to find better handicapped sorts lurking here.
Dark Angel mare who has placed at the track and over this trip. Not beaten far over C&D in November but the 11-race maiden hasn't shown enough to be of interest in this contest.
One from four over C&D but has been well held in his last three starts over the combination since winning in November 2017 off a 3lb higher mark. Struggles expected to continue.

CREST OF A WAVE improved not only for the drop in trip but on handicap debut when just failing to land the odds over C&D last month. The Excelebration filly can handle the 2lb rise here and see off the attentions of more seasoned campaigners in the shape of top weight Tyrconnell, distance winner, Very Smart and C&D winner, Smart Stinger in first-time cheekpieces.
