Jack The Truth⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: L Morris| T: George Scott| OR: 74| CD

11/4

Won three times this time last year including over the C&D off this mark. Weakened late over 6f last start and better back at this distance. Should be competitive again.

Form: 86-3635

Cappananty Con²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: A Kirby| T: C Wallis| OR: 74| C

3/1

Down to an attractive mark and was a good second over this C&D on stable debut after leaving Dean Ivory. Entitiled to benefit for first outing for 145-days absence but took a while to get going and all three wins have come at 6f.

Form: 40409-2

It Must Be Faith^p²⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 9-6| J: Jane Elliott⁽³⁾| T: M Appleby| OR: 73| C| D

8/1

Came on significantly from his return with a much improved front-running second over 7f here. Stable in-form and drawn well but may find 5f on the sharp side nowadays.

Form: 1314-92

Hello Girl³⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: J F Egan| T: D K Ivory| OR: 68| D

20/1

Now 2lb below last winning mark but concern that she has shown nothing in two starts following a 326-days absence and best watched for now.

Form: 164/39-0

Miracle Works³⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: Tom Marquand| T: R M H Cowell| OR: 68

11/4

Nine-race maiden who was sold out of Ed Walker's stable for 14,000gns. Had a troubled run when a close eighth at Kempton over 6f and previously ran well over this trip at Newcastle. Down another 2lb and a leading hope on stable debut.

Form: 8285-38

(3)

Warrior's Valley^p,t²²

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: S Donohoe| T: D C Griffiths| OR: 66| D

6/1

Made all at Southwell last month when down in grade and now back to a career-high mark. First run at a course that may suit his style but was previously finding this grade beyond him.

Form: 359-451

(7)

Hollander^t²⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 8-12| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: Alexandra Dunn| OR: 65| D

25/1

Well-held over 7f here on final start for William Muir and subsequently sold for 5,000gns. Both wins have come back at this distance and a better run not out of the question on stable debut.

Form: 9393-59

Forecasts

Miracle Works (11/4), Jack The Truth (11/4), Cappananty Con (3/1), Warrior's Valley (6/1), It Must Be Faith (8/1), Hello Girl (20/1), Hollander (25/1)

There's plenty of pace on show and a fast-run race at this distance may prove ideal for MIRACLE WORKS who is down to a mark that can provide a first win. Jack The Truth is another who can benefit from the drop in distance and weight while It Must Be Faith has to be respected for a stable going so well at present.
