Unbeaten in both hurdle runs in October and the latter has been franked several times. Doubly entered at Cheltenham and will need to make short work of these for that to be a viable option. Stable won this last year.
Runner-up in an Irish point-to-point last May. Improved on his debut when 22L eighth on hurdles debut at Market Rasen in December, but will need much more than that to be competitive here.
Has shown potential in a low grade bumper and on hurdling bow over C&D. This is an above-average event and he may need to await his turn.
By Scorpion out of an unraced sister to Gold Cup winner Looks Like Trouble. Won Irish point-to-point on debut in April and promised better to come on his hurdling bow in what has proved to be a hot race.
Multiple AW Flat winner in 2016, but has struggled in both starts over hurdles for this trainer, since switching to this code following two years off. Others preferred.
Bumper winner at Plumpton (good-to-firm) on debut in May 2017. Disappointing since however and beaten a minimum of 68L in two starts over hurdles so far.
Decent effort on second of two hurdles starts in France last spring. Failed to repeat that form in two starts since joining this yard and out of his depth here.
Penultimate run is the standout piece of form in this, however outfought when odds-on last time and blinkers added here. Showed signs of temperament at the start for last two runs and probably not one to risk at short odds.

Forecasts
Anytime Will Do (6/5), Hes No Trouble (15/8), Chaparral Prince (9/4), Fransham (10/1), Captain Speaking (50/1), Clondaw Storm (100/1), Madam Anna (100/1), Middlescence (100/1), Royal Reef (125/1)
Chapparal Prince receives plenty of weight from his principal rivals, however he has shown signs of temperament and a lack of heart so the vote goes to ANYTIME WILL DO. The Cheltenham entrant is ideally suied to these quick conditions and the form of his latest victory could hardly be working out better. Hes No Trouble showed promise on his hurdling bow in a race that has thrown up several winners since. However, his point-to-point victory was gained on much softer ground than this and as a result he is just passed over.
- Anytime Will Do
- Hes No Trouble
