Good looking individual for whom fences will be his making, shown little so far but improvement likely at some stage and a better showing wouldn't be the biggest surprise.
Placed in a big-field point-to-point last May but the form of that only average, and he was pulled up when sent off 66-1 for only start under Rules at Ffos Las in November. No realistic chance here.
No win in 16 starts on the Flat and was of little account. No great reason why he should do nay better over hurdles and easy enough to dismiss on debut in this sphere.
Tailed off in a point-to-point in December and little realistic chance on hurdles debut today on that, but in good hands and might be one for handicaps further down the line.
Last of ten on bumper debut at Huntingdon but is a half-brother to the useful hurdler Up And Go, so may do better. Now tried in a tongue tie and a hood, and all in all, best watched today.
Has come up against some good sorts in his two hurdles starts to date and has shown more than enough to think he can take care of this modest field, despite the fact he will want further in time. Repeat of either run good enough to win this.
Some speed in the pedigree and might be good enough to win a maiden hurdle somewhere down the line, but yard struggling a bit for form and even in this weak event, others make a bit more appeal today. Hurdles debut.
Point-to-point winner last November and there was some promise to be taken from his Warwick debut where he faced some decent sorts, and only gave best from two out. Repeat of that gives her places chances here at worst.
Didn't show a lot in two bumpers but a bit better at Ludlow last time out, although never really looked like threatening. Some improvement on that might give him chances of hitting the frame in a very modest event.
Some ability over middle distances on the Flat for George Baker and makes hurdles debut for new yard here. Gets a bit of weight and has the scope for hurdles, so not out of a chance of the places if hurdling fluently.
Forecasts
Monsieur D'Arque (1/4), Lucky Lover Boy (4/1), Brophies Doll (11/1), Binn Boru (14/1), Our Rockstar (20/1), Bigchextocash (33/1), Cobra Commander (33/1), Joey Steel (33/1), Demophon (50/1), Lil Lazarus (100/1)
This does rather look at the mercy of MONSIEUR D'ARQUE, who faces nothing of the quality of either Scarlet Dragon or Elixir Du Nutz, the winners of the two races he's contested so far. Barring accidents, this looks his to lose. Brophies Dollran respectably on her hurdles debut at Warwick and looks second best, and the bronze can be fought out between Our Rockstar, Lucky Lover Boy and Bigchextocash.
- Monsieur D'Arque
- Brophies Doll
