Off time: 16:00 | Winning time: 6m 3.23s

Rocklander⁶⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 11-11| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 140

9/2

Capable performer on his day as he underlined with a third at last year's Cheltenham Festival, but he has not always been the safest of conveyances and tipped up at Haydock last time. Feasibly weighted and ground should suit.

Form: 3F-P54F

Looking Well^p⁷³

Age: 10| Weight: 11-4| J: R D Day| T: N G Richards| OR: 133

5/2

Going well in first-time cheekpieces when tipping up three fences from home over 4m at Kelso on latest start. Runs off the same mark, but stays all day and may find this a bit sharp.

Form: 7UP-39F

Junction Fourteen^t,v⁶⁸

Age: 10| Weight: 11-3| J: D A Jacob| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 132

7/1

Capable performer in his prime, but not so good these days and was well behind in a Cheltenham cross-country race when last seen in December. Slipping down the weights, but needs to show more.

Form: 4046F-9

Sir Mangan^p⁵⁰

Age: 11| Weight: 11-0| J: William Marshall⁽¹⁰⁾| T: D Skelton| OR: 129| D

5/1

In the twilight of his career, but has shown enough to suggest another win is within his capabilities. Ran well to be second of three at this venue two starts ago and is 1lb lower.

Form: F79227

Bally Longford^t³⁹

Age: 11| Weight: 11-0| J: Harry Cobden| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 129

11/4

Beaten quite a long way despite finishing second of seven at Kempton last time. Scored at Newbury off 3lb lower last March so certainly not out of it if in the same mood.

Form: P1-4252

Enjoy Responsibly⁶⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 11-0| J: Harrison Beswick⁽⁷⁾| T: O Sherwood| OR: 129| BF| D

10/1

Fakenham winner off 7lb lower last March and has not shaped badly in third on last two starts. Remains a little high in the weights, but is not out of it.

Form: 310-533

Forecasts

Looking Well (5/2), Bally Longford (11/4), Rocklander (9/2), Sir Mangan (5/1), Junction Fourteen (7/1), Enjoy Responsibly (10/1)

Looking Well was going nicely when coming to grief in first-time cheekpieces at Kelso and could be a big threat if the headgear has a similar effect. He may find this trip on the short side, though, so preference is for top-weight ROCKLANDER, who has a touch of class and is capable of winning this if his sometimes suspect jumping holds up. Bally Longford, Sir Mangan and Enjoy Responsibly are respected, but Junction Fourteen does not look the force of old.
