In great form over both fences and hurdles since joining this trainer, winning four out of six. Up another 5lb for a 10L Ayr hurdles win last time. Reverts to chasing 12lb higher than his last run in November, but has improved since. Can go well.
Irish point winner whose best hurdles run came here 14-months ago. Showed similar ability over fences, but jumping has let him down of late, so arrives with a bit to prove.
Wind surgery paid immediate dividends when he scored next time at Southwell in May. Has not been as good as that since, but was not far away from this mark at Doncaster last time, and he can improve for this step up to 3m. Player.
Goes well at this, his local track, but couldn't win from 2lb lower when going close two starts ago. Should give a good account, but needs to find more to be winning this.
Has often run well over fences without winning, underlined by his 1-18 record in this discipline. Respectable run last time was a step back in the right direction, but more needed from this mark.
Broke his duck at the ninth attempt at Huntingdon last time (2m7f, good to soft; in first-time tongue-tie). Up 7lb for that, and in a better race, he will need to improve again to follow up. Can't rule that out.
Has a record of 5-13 over fences, but not in the best of form either side of wind surgery this season, leaving him with a bit to prove at present.
Recorded the latest of his four chase successes at Musselburgh (3m, good) in December, in a race that has worked out well. Front pair were 13L clear there. Tougher company now, and up 6lb, so needs to raise his game again.
