Disappointing last two runs but perhaps this drop both in trip and class will help so not easy to dismiss.
Looked to be on the upgrade when winning here in May and October but has seemingly lost his way since. Hopes rest on a return to this venue and if it works he has become very well handicapped horse.
Would have picked these up and carried them in his prime and while obviously not the force of old, his Leicester third showed there is some life in him yet.
Long losing run continues to build up and despite sometimes showing he may still have races in him. his Warwick effort last time was very disappointing and plenty to prove after that.
Showed the benefit of comeback run when bouncing back to form at Bangor in November. That was on soft ground but has won on Good in the past so ground shouldn't be a concern. Wind surgery since last seen.
