Progressive mare who has won two Listed handicap chases in her last four starts, both successes over this sort of trip. Fine fourth in Welsh National over much further at Christmas, in the mix again now.

Bounced back to form when flooring an odds-on shot at Warwick (2m4f, good to soft) in December, though unseated later that month at Doncaster. Stays this far, though work to do with Rons Dream on form.

In good form since returning this season and completed a hat-trick when winning a novices' handicap chase over 2m4f at Warwick (good) in November. Faller at Huntingdon (2m4f, good to soft) in this company last month, more needed up in distance.

Consistent in four starts over fences and off the mark latest over this C&D 30 days ago when staying on strongly to win a handicap off a mark of 129. Needs to improve again on that to score in this company.

Former C&D winner, was behind Molly Childers here last month on good ground and likely needs to see some rain falling to enhance what looks to be only minor claims in this grade.

Forecast

Rons Dream (11/8), Atlanta Ablaze (2/1), Molly Childers (4/1), Marienstar (6/1), Two Smokin Barrels (10/1)

Verdict

Hard task crossing any of these off with haste but RONS DREAM is a dual Listed winner already and didn't do a lot wrong last time out in the Welsh National (fourth). She's enjoyed a nice little break since and, given she nearly always runs her race, earns the nod now. Last-time-out C&D handicap winner Molly Childers is improving and warrants a try in this field while Warwick winner Atalanta Ablaze will be a dangerous if producing that sort of jumping display (unseated since).
  1. Rons Dream
  2. Atlanta Ablaze
  3. Molly Childers
