Second of three in first chase at Kempton before finishing fourth to Glen Forsa there next. Impressed next when winning at Huntingdon (2m4f) but found out latest when pulled up in Grade Two. Drop to 2m not ideal and others appeal more.
Useful although maiden hurdler has already showed improved form since going chasing with back-to-back wins at Chepstow (2m7½f) and Kempton (2m4½f). Hotter race now and drops back in trip but looks a smart prospect and merits respect.
High class novice hurdler only beaten a neck in Supreme Novices at Cheltenham. Two bloodless wins against lesser opponents over fences but beaten at Kempton latest by Dynamite Dollars. This track should suit better and fancied today.
Three-time hurdle winner in France and bowed out with a Grade One fourth. Won with plenty in hand on chase/UK bow at Exeter in a four-runner contest. Hard to gauge that form (second also not run since) but looks a smart recruit and highly respected.
Rule 4
Rule 4 applies to board prices only - deduction 15p in the pound
Forecasts
Kalashnikov (1/2), Glen Forsa (9/2), Dalila Du Seuil (5/1), Dell Oro (12/1)
Leading Arkle candidate KALASHNIKOV should be hard to beat here with the stiffer track likely to be more suitable than Kempton where he tasted a first defeat over fences last time out. Dalila Du Seuil was smart in France and won with plenty up her sleeve at Exeter first time over fences so rates the danger ahead of Glen Forsa.
