Sole win came at Lingfield in September off a 3lb lower mark. Beaten 12L on stable debut over C&D in December. Looks a tall order here, despite a handy 7lb claim in the saddle.

Ended a run of five placed efforts with a close fourth at Thurles in October. Worthy of consideration with the yard boasting a consistent win and place strike rate at this venue in mid-February since 2016, though stamina taken on trust.

Failed to build on a promising run in November with a couple of dismal efforts over C&D towards the end of the year but much more like it last month, going down in a head-bobber. Up 2lb now but chance with a repeat effort.

Running well in defeat this winter and once more went close over C&D last month (third) when beaten less than 2L. Runs from the same mark now and entitled to be in the mix.

Rip Van Winkle mare, six-race maiden for Mick Halford before joining this yard and well held on this surface in a couple of starts this winter. Looks vulnerable again.

Form figures of 312 in three C&D starts, latest when going down a head last month. Not badly treated from 3lb higher now and should again go well. One of the more likely types.

Had dropped to a basement mark prior to breaking her duck in a 1m handicap here in December. Fourth since over the same trip having gone up 7lb, she's got to prove her stamina for this test.

Yet to hit the frame in 11 career starts but most recent starts here have shown plenty of promise. Didn't appear to get home over 1m4f last week, can be competitive back down in distance though others more likely to win.

Sole Flat success came at Wolverhampton over extended-mile in 2015. Has routinely struggled here, including last month off a 343-day layoff in first-time cheekpieces. Tongue-tie added now, others readily preferred however.

Seven-race maiden, though has shaped with promise in his two starts over this C&D previously. Capable of being involved when push comes to shove and unlikely we've seen the best of her yet.

C&D winner getting on for seven years ago with last success coming in 2015 here over 1m. Third over this trip last month (beaten 7½L) and likely aiming for similar outcome at best tonight.

Now a 23-race maiden having failed to muster a challenge 14 days ago in a C&D claimer in which he was a 100/1 chance. That was his first attempt at his trip and didn't threaten to land a blow.

Nine-race maiden well held here in two recent starts following a move from the John O'Connell yard. She wasn't disgraced over C&D in November on AW bow, though unable to get near that form in three runs since.

Lightly-raced maiden hurdler, finished 4¼L second of 12 in a handicap here last week over 1m4f. Drops in trip now and cannot be discounted with that run in mind. This isn't strong.

Dual purpose performer, remains a maiden after 15 starts. Set to make AW bow here if getting the call and has some potential at this sort of level. Watch betting if running (Second Reserve).

Has failed to build on a couple of turf wins in the summer when in the hands of Jim Bolger. Well fended off in two AW starts over 7f/1m so far, this trip may suit more (Third Reserve).

Verdict

Yarraman was picked off by the favourite when second over 1m4f here last time on just his second AW run. He made a fine fist of it from the front and would earn the nod now had he not drawn stall 13. Royal Admiral has stamina to prove and has been expensive to follow when fancied. Noble Intention continues to threaten here and can do so with mark unchanged after a 2L third last month, while Stealth bounced back here last time and will have a chance if repeating that run. SPANISH DAWN has run well in three C&D appearances (one win) and is taken to have a big say having gone up 3lb for a narrow second 42 days ago.
  1. Spanish Dawn
  2. Noble Intention
  3. Yarraman
