Colt by Dandy Man out of a Pivotal mare. Nothing of note in a couple of disappointing starts here over shorter trips including a 25L defeat earlier this month when finishing 12th of 13 over 6f. Hard to fancy and plenty to prove.

Had stablemates Shuri and Rehoboth Beach behind when finishing third of 13 on debut. Worth a check in the market given the yard hold a 37% win and place strike rate in mid February at the track in the last three seasons.

Filly by No Nay Never out of a Danehill Dancer mare. Cost 55,000gns as a yearling and will look to develop from a promising sixth of 13 beaten 3L here over C&D earlier this month. Repeat of that form should see her go well.

Forecasts

Cerberus (6/4), Munees Gemini (3/1), Laethanta Saoire (10/1), Avigale (10/1), Ultra Pride (10/1), Han Solo (10/1), Will Be King (10/1), Kante (12/1), Never Rains (12/1), Canning (12/1), Lightning Storm (16/1), Wicklow Gale (20/1), Eyeoweyou (25/1), Rule The Sea (25/1), Action Dan (33/1), Amberscole (50/1), La Capacite (50/1)

Verdict

The Joseph O'Brien-trained CERBERUS can improve on his third of 13 on debut over C&D earlier this month finishing ½L behind Isosceles and Oneiroi but ahead of a couple of stablemates, when headed in the final strides. Never Rains was a couple of lengths adrift of the selection and can emerge as the biggest danger here for trainer Fozzy Stack, while Munees Gemini and Ultra Pride appearing to be capable of hitting the frame.
