Not the most consistent of performers and his jumping has been a further problem lately. Well held when taking a tumble last time.

Handed the race on his last start in November. Runner-up has scored since and a line through that rival suggests he has a lot in hand of Le Capricieux. Stable do well here and also won this in 2017.

Dual winner last season who failed to fulfil Exeter promise when tailed off here a month ago. Needs to bounce back.

Forecast

Le Coeur Net (5/4), Zen Master (3/1), Le Capricieux (9/2), Triple Chief (6/1), The Mighty Ash (9/1)

Verdict

LE COEUR NET may have been flattered by his victory last time, but nevertheless he was 18L ahead of a rival who had Le Capricieux behind when going one better subsequently. Zen Master has had issues with his jumping and Triple Chief has looked unreliable lately. The Mighty Ash looks more of a threat on the pick of last year's form, although he still needs to find more at the business end than has been the case peviously.
  1. Le Coeur Net
  2. Le Capricieux
  3. The Mighty Ash
