Shaped well over hurdles until he met his Waterloo in the Sefton Hurdle at Aintree last April. Did shape with promise on chasing debut though and is open to plenty if improvement. Worth considering.
Winner of a Grade 2 (mares only) hurdle at Sandown last season and has a likeable attitude. Likely candidate to make the running but needs to hold a little more in reserve for the finish; also debatable as to whether this drop in trip will suit.
Yard has won this race twice in the last four years and the mare has taken well to fences; enough to suggest she can play a part in what is likely to be a tactical little race. Cut in the ground is ideal, so possible the mare can play a strong role.
Forecasts
Good Man Pat (5/6), Midnight Tune (13/8), All Currencies (11/2)
GOOD MAN PAT showed plenty of promise on his chasing debut and could have the race set-up for him nicely if Midnight Tune runs her usual race from the front. All Currencies can also benefit from a strong pace and she looks the main danger on this occasion.
