Age: 11| Weight: 10-13| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| OR: 137| D

6/1

Grade 2 novice chase winner back in 2016 but in poor form on six subsequent starts and returns from a lengthy absence here. More than likely to need the run here and all his best form is on heavy ground.

Form: F0P0U9/

Snugsborough Benny⁴⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 10-12| J: D F O'Regan| T: L P Cusack| OR: 136| D

11/8

Won twice in the summer but his two efforts this winter have been below par and made jumping errors last time out before unseating at Leopardstown. Has a bit to prove now.

Form: 61319U

Call It Magic^b⁶⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 10-11| J: Ruby Walsh| T: R O'Sullivan| OR: 135| D

7/4

Bounced back to form with a good fourth at Aintree last time. May have preferred more testing conditions than what he gets here but he will be wanting to win this if he's to achieve a high enough rating for the Grand National in April.

Form: 437-704

Fine Theatre^b²⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-11| J: B J Cooper| T: P Nolan| OR: 130| C

6/1

Losing run stretches all the way back to 2016 and in poor form over hurdles of late. Fell at Aintree when last seen over fences and hard to fancy in current form.

Form: B0-9F07

Wounded Warrior^p³⁴

Age: 10| Weight: 10-11| J: Sean Flanagan| T: S Curling| OR: 133| D

11/1

Well beaten on both starts since leaving Noel Meade (£43,000 purchase) this winter. Useful stayer on his day, as seen when winning at the Punchestown Festival last year but has become more inconsistent with age and has a bit to prove.

Form: 61-0683

Forecasts

Snugsborough Benny (11/8), Call It Magic (7/4), Nick Lost (3/1), Measureofmydreams (6/1), Fine Theatre (6/1), Wounded Warrior (11/1)

CALL IT MAGIC ran well over the National fences last time out and he could be hard to beat win a winnable renewal of this race in which many of his rivals arrive out of form. Nick Lost is better than he showed last time out and should appreciate the drop in class. Wounded Warrior may be best of the rest if he can recapture his Punchestown Festival form from last year.
