Winner over a similar trip of a Sligo handicap hurdle in July 2017 off a 1lb lower mark. Running well in defeat on a couple of occasions since but difficult to make a case for on first start for over 16 months.
Not disgraced in a number of maiden hurdle efforts last year but disappointed on return to action at Gowran Park last month. Not to be taken lightly given yard have a 41% win and place strike rate in early February at this track since 2016.
Third of 19 beaten 1¾L over C&D last month before a below-par run when upped in trip at Navan three weeks ago. Place claims back in trip and in first-time cheekpieces.
Showed ability without making the frame in two bumpers last season and produced plenty of promise when third of seven beaten ½L in a Thurles maiden hurdle on good ground when last seen in November. Strong claims for in form yard.
Will have disappointed influential connections in three career maiden hurdle starts since the end of last year. Any market move would be worth noting on handicap debut.
Winner of one of his seven starts over this trip and improved on second handicap start when finishing third of 12 in a Punchestown 2m contest last month. One of three in the race for leading trainer and worth a market check.
Made a winning handicap debut for this yard when scoring by 4L in a Thurles contest over this trip off a 9lb lower mark in November. Has failed to complete in both starts since but is capable of bouncing back if in the mood.
Landed a 17-runner handicap hurdle over a similar trip at Clonmel last month off an 11lb lower mark, getting off the mark for connections over timber at the 11th time of asking. Another bold show looks likely.
Three time Flat winner for trainer Ed Walker in 2017 but a long time between drinks now and unable to mount a challenge in four dour maiden hurdle efforts since December. Possibly best watched on handicap debut unless market suggests otherwise.
11-race maiden without success in eight starts over timber but has run well in defeat in the past including finishing third of 20 beaten 1½L behind the useful Spare Brakes at Gowran Park recently. Strong place claims in competitive contest.
Big prices for four 2m maiden hurdle defeats since leaving Dermot Weld for this yard, well beaten on each occasion. Opposed here on handicap debut.
Three uncompleted starts in the point-to-point field and has been left toiling in three maiden hurdle starts since December. Hard to construct much of a case for the gelding in this contest.
Two from 15 starts over hurdles, last win coming at Limerick nearly three years ago. Infrequent visits to the track of late make the Diamond Green gelding impossible to consider.
Winner of his second handicap hurdle start when landing a Wexford 2m contest in September off a 5lb lower mark. Not fluent and never a factor last time at Roscommon when last seen in October. Place claims if jumping fluently.
Beat one rival home on his sole start on the Flat for Sir Michael Stoute before fetching 16,000gns at the sales in October 2017. Hints of promise on third maiden hurdle start at Fairyhouse in November and worth a market check on handicap debut.
Poor form in three maiden hurdle starts since November including a 22L defeat finishing 11th of 17 at Limerick on St Stephens Day. Still looking no nearer to a breakthrough success.
Yet to start a contest at odds of less than 50/1 in four maiden hurdle runs to date and has run accordingly on each occasion. Well below par form looks set to continue.
Showed little in a number of starts before a rejuvenated second of 22 beaten 4½L in a Punchestown handicap hurdle over this trip at the end of the year. Makes minimal appeal given consistency levels.
Eight-race maiden over these obstacles hitting the frame on just the one occasion. Needs to show significant improvement in this company.
Seven race maiden who has started three career maiden hurdle contests at odds of 100/1 running appropriately on each occasion. Impossible to make a case for the son of Pour Moi.
