Gars Bar Dine35
Age: 8|  Weight: 11-8| J: D R Fox| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR:  113
14/1
Has had a nomadic existence having been trained in France and Ireland but still a maiden after 19 runs and hasn't shown enough for current yard to be of interest on chase debut today.
2
Horse silk
Road To Gold35
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-7| J: Lucy Alexander| T: N W Alexander| OR:  112| C| D
5/2
Has twice run with credit at shorter over hurdles this term but now tries fences again and has shown little aptitude in four previous goes over the larger obstacles.
3
Horse silk
Glittering Love35
Age: 7|  Weight: 11-1| J: B S Hughes| T: N G Richards| OR:  106| CD
2/1
Multiple Point-to-point winner and made it 2 from 2 over fences under rules with wins at Hexham and then over C&D. Showed really good attitude on both occasions and should have more to come.
4
Horse silk
Vasco D'Ycy656
Age: 10|  Weight: 11-0| J: Henry Brooke| T: Julia Brooke| OR:  105| C
9/1
In good heart over hurdles when last seen in the spring of 2017 but absent since and still a maiden over fences. Having first run over the larger obstacles since 2015.

Imperial Prince17
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-9| J: Sean Quinlan| T: I A Duncan| OR:  100
5/1
Seemed to find 3m3f beyond him here last time but ran well to a point and now enjoys a 5lb pull for 2L with Glittering Love from penultimate start. Yet to win over fences in 11 attempts but should play a part.
6
Horse silk
Katalystic29
Age: 8|  Weight: 10-5| J: S Mulqueen(3)| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR:  96
8/1
Modest maiden over hurdles but has the shape to do better in his new career over fences and interesting to see if there is any market support for him on this debut in this sphere.
7
Horse silk
Carlingford Princeh29
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-5| J: Harry Reed(3)| T: T Reed| OR:  96
16/1
Runner up in a pair of Point-to-points but doesn't make it to the track very often and hard to fancy on belated debut over fences under rules.
8
Horse silk
Ashes Corner55
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-3| J: J Kington| T: Julia Brooke| OR:  84
50/1
Has clearly had problems and now goes chasing late in life. Hasn't shown enough to be of interest from out of the weights.

Forecasts

Glittering Love (2/1), Road To Gold (5/2), Imperial Prince (5/1), Katalystic (8/1), Vasco D'Ycy (9/1), Gars Bar Dine (14/1), Carlingford Prince (16/1), Ashes Corner (50/1)

Verdict

A weak race for the grade and GLITTERING LOVE is taken to defy his 5lb rise and enhance his excellent strike rate. Imperial Prince rates the logical danger on their meeting here last month though is proving hard to win with while Katalystic has the physique to take to fences and may reward each way backers.
  1. Glittering Love
  2. Imperial Prince
  3. Katalystic
