Followed up a very promising second on hurdling debut at Warwick (strong form that has been boosted) with a smooth odds on success over this trip at Wetherby. Plenty more to come and sure to go well for a yard that took this race in 2018.
Made all to beat his only serious rival over 2m2f here last month. Return to this trip not a problem but that race lacked any strength in depth and more needed in this stronger contest.
Won in France last summer and having made English debut in a void race at Haydock, ran well when third to a pair of promising types on return visit to that venue. Extra 5f today and good prospects if staying.
Chepstow win in October but unable to defy his penalty in two starts since. Probably unsuited by steady pace on latest but still needs to eke out a bit of improvement in this better contest.
Heavy ground Bumper win at Ayr in November and probably ran to similar level when third under his penalty subsequently. Both pieces of form have been let down and in at the deep end on this hurdling debut.
Has 9L to find with Clarendon Street from latest start and although has weight pull today, will likely do better in handicaps further down the line.
Tailed off in a pair of bumpers and needs to make dramatic improvement on this hurdling debut to figure.
Finished fourth in a trio of bumpers in 2017 but absent since and as her dam was in her element over 3m, likely to come into her own over further in the future.
Forecasts
Clarendon Street (11/10), Muratello (9/4), Garrettstown (5/1), Senior Citizen (13/2), Boldmere (14/1), Bally Conor (22/1), Witham (100/1), Sultans Hero (250/1)
Some promising types on display and CLARENDON STREET is taken to follow up his Wetherby success in what should prove an informative contest. Muratello wasn't disgraced in a Grade 2 at Haydock last time and if staying this longer trip looks sure to be a big threat. Senior Citizen is preferred to Garrettstown of the other previous winners.
