Popular veteran who is two from five over C&D, the latest of which came last month off a 5lb lower mark. Beaten since and may have to settle for a minor honour.
One from five over C&D getting off the mark on his last visit here. Has been frustrating to follow but he's open to more improvement and the one to beat on these terms.
Without a win in 10 visits to the track and Wolverhampton remains his venue of choice. Unlikely to play a part in the finish here.
Official mark tells you all you need to know about this disappointing Dandy Man gelding who comes here a nine race maiden who is yet to hit the frame.
One from 11 at the track and continues to race inconsistently and on a lengthy losing run despite plummeting in the weights.
19-race maiden and last seen trying this trip 18 months ago. First time tongue-tie doubtful to bring about the required amount of progress needed to play a role here.
Distance winner who is without a win here in four visits, though three recent starts here for current connections have appeared promising. One for the shortlist.
Still looking for a win on the AW in 15 starts. Well beaten on two visits to this venue with better form coming at Newcastle and Wolverhampton.
Forecasts
Point Zero (4/6), Diamond Pursuit (3/1), French (7/1), Divine Call (9/1), Ticks The Boxes (14/1), Westfield Wonder (20/1), Tasaaboq (33/1), Mr Wing (125/1)
In a race that appears to be one that wont take a great deal of winning, the four-year-old C&D winner POINT ZERO make have a little too much up his sleeve for his older opponents. Diamond Pursuit has been running well in defeat here since joining current connections in December and can emerge as the biggest danger, with the veteran C&D winner Divine Call capable of hitting the frame in this company.
- Point Zero
- Diamond Pursuit
- Divine Call
