Form of Warwick third to Birchdale couldn't be working out much better, didn't run to that form when winning a little race at Ayr last time and might not want the ground desperate here, but clear form chances.

Starting to look exposed already and not progressing, moderate efforts last two starts and although this arguably a bit easier, needs to refind best form and that looks unlikely at present.

Three efforts over hurdles so far have revealed some ability, notably when still looking green in the closing stages when finishing second at Huntingdon last time out. Different ground and new trip to cope with here.

Faller at Leicester two starts ago and again, a bad mistake cost her any chance at Warwick last time. That form is working out well though, so if staying error-free this time, and handling the slower ground, she should have her chance.

Duarigle29

Has caught the eye a bit last two starts, fifth to the useful Kateson at Newbury and then when occupying the same place at Lingfield last time. Hardly thrown in for handicap debut but stays and handles the ground, so could do better again.

Eclair De Guye27
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: L P Aspell| T: L Wadham| OR:  114

Has finished close enough to a pair of useful-looking horses at Plumpton on last two starts to think there's a race or two in him now he goes handicapping, and yard do get the odd hurdles winner here. Not out of it.

Going nowhere quickly at present, beaten big distances last three starts and hard to see any reason why he should turn things around today.

Yet to win in 11 starts and in truth, isn't progressing at present. Not beaten far at Wincanton last time but that race was quantity rather than quality and he needs to find some improvement from somewhere.

The Toojumpa56
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-12| J: Lee Edwards| T: J Groucott| OR:  109

Landed a bit of a touch when successful at Bangor in December but well below that form when pulling up at Chepstow last time out. Suspicion is there was something amiss there and she may well do better here. Handles soft.

Another to catch the eye when sixth at Lingfield latest, travelled nicely into the race and gave the impression of more to come now going handicapping. Chances on paper and they would be increased if the money came for him.

Forecasts

She Mite Bite (3/1), Johnbb (4/1), The Brothers (6/1), Special Acceptance (7/1), El Hageb Rose (15/2), Juge Et Parti (8/1), Eclair De Guye (10/1), Duarigle (12/1), The Toojumpa (12/1), Itsonlyrocknroll (50/1)

Verdict

Johnbb is the one with the solid form in the bank, having finished third to last week's Cheltenham winner Birchdale, but he rather scraped home at Ayr on soft ground last time and may be vulnerable under a big weight. She Mite Bite and The Toojumpa are obvious candidates but there are some unexposed types here and of those, ECLAIR DE GUYE is the one that makes the most appeal. There's been plenty to like about his two efforts at Plumpton and the form is working out well already. Both El Hageb Rose and Duarigle caught the eye at Lingfield last time and both are potential improvers.
