Back to form when winning over this C&D in a first-time visor in what was an unlikely success when rallying late. Concern that was a race run in a slow time and headgear needs to work again.
Improved with each start and off the mark over this trip at Lingfield. Got the run of things out in front but still won with plenty to spare and starts life in handicaps off a potentially attractive mark for an in-form yard.
Fair degree of promise on last of two runs for Roger Varian but was disappointing on new stable debut. Cheekpieces added and needs to improve on handicap debut. Stable also runs Probability.
Nine-race maiden but potentially well handicapped based on two earlier runs. Close up when last of six at Lingfield last start but run can be upgraded as she didn't get a clear passage. Down in grade and can go close.
Caught the eye running on strongly when denied a clear run in a good novice contest at Wolverhampton and makes her handicap debut off a decent looking mark. Open to improvement and rates a leading hope.
Clear signs of talent in three turf starts for Mark Johnston and ran to a similar standard on last month's stable debut. Entitled to come on for the run and some improvement should see him competitive.
Six-race maiden has been a bit below her previous best in two starts for new yard. Easing to a potentially good mark but others more convincing.
Forecasts
Xtara (9/4), Distant Mirage (5/2), Probability (5/2), Urban Highway (8/1), Zaula (16/1), Haats Off (25/1), Under Curfew (40/1), Lysander Belle (50/1)
A very open handicap with some potentially improving types making their handicap debuts, not least Probability who should make a bold bid from the inside draw. Fellow filly Distant Mirage likewise improved nicely last time and is potentially well handicapped but a chance is taken with HAATS OFF who is on a very lenient mark now and was luckless in better company at Lingfield.
