Things didn't fall his way on his penultimate start (form has worked out well) but he justified favouritism in what essentially looked to be a match on paper pre-race over C&D 15-days ago; key player off a 2lb higher mark.

Off the mark at the 11th attempt when overcoming a wide draw to land the odds in a 7f Wolverhampton novice in early January; close-up C&D third to Rey Loopy (has form associated with Glory Of Paris) since; definite contender.

Verdict

Glory Of Paris took his chance over C&D a fortnight ago and shouldn't be knocked off just a 2lb higher mark, although the general suspicion was that probably wasn't the deepest of races for the grade (Class 4). Therefore, the preferred option is BLAME CULTURE. Although taking his time in initially getting off the mark, he backed up his early 2019 Wolverhampton win with a solid run behind the reliable yardsticks Rey Loopy and Trevithick over C&D latest and is probably 2-3lb better than his current official rating of 77.
