Incredibly well bred as a half-brother to good sires Showcasing and Camacho but never ran for John Gosden and was completely tailed off on debut for this yard in a Sedgefield bumper. This an altogether different test but best watched.
Son of Orientor improved on debut fourth when third over 7f at Wolverhampton despite meeting traffic issues 2f out. That form among the best on offer and fact it came on this surface further bolsters his claims so highly respected here.
Bargain basement son of Delegator was a remote last of seven here on debut over C&D a fortnight ago. No positives taken from that so best watched again.
Expensive US bred filly went small way to repaying that in second career success when winning a nine-runner Southwell novice. Penalised for that which makes life tougher but sure there's more to come and has strong claims here.
Exceed and Excel newcomer out of a Group One placed two-year-old is a half-brother to four maidens. Progeny of dam disappointing so far but still one of the best bred horses here and yard well capable with them first time up.
Son of prolific sire Dark Angel showed ability on debut when fifth of 14 at Ripon before disappointing at Hamilton and not seen since so perhaps something amiss there. Extra 1f and first time on AW here. Market may prove a good guide.
Lope De Vega gelding struggled severely on debut when a remote 13th of 14 here over 6f back in November. Given time since and extra 1f should help here but hard to recommend anything but a watching brief.
Forecasts
Eve Harrington (6/4), Bay Of Naples (7/4), Devil's Angel (13/2), Orient Express (15/2), Divied (16/1), Desai (40/1), Savlad (250/1)
EVE HARRINGTON has a penalty to overcome here but Sir Mark Prescott's three-year-old is open to plenty of improvement and is well bred for AW surfaces so taken to build on her Fibresand surface on her first start on Tapeta. Orient Express is the main danger based on his Wolverhampton third on this surface and newcomer Bay Of Naples is likely to prove competitive on debut.
