Now 17 starts without a win despite a few near misses including a latest career best at Kempton. Is well suited by this track so every chance of being involved again.
Mixed form in five starts to date and needs to bounce back from a poor effort in a first-time hood (removed). Capable but looks a risky proposition.
Yet to build on promise of first two starts for Ralph Beckett but has raced to a consistent level so far for new yard. Respected down to this grade.
Not far away the last twice but has failed to build on promise of her debut. Worth the step up in trip on handicap debut and on a feasible mark if finding progress.
21 starts now without a win but not far away on his last three. May have to work to get to the front but likely to make a bold bid again and be involved.
Hinted at ability at Southwell in November but well below that level in subsequent four starts and remains best watched.
A 19-race maiden who was well beaten over 6f in August. Steps up in trip off 4lb lower and in first-time cheekpieces but is still hard to fancy following an absence.
Has shown nothing in six starts to date including on stable debut in November. Hard to make a case for at present.
Showed improved form at Wolverhampton on handicap debut when not getting a clear run but disappointed next at Kempton. May prefer this track but stable quiet at present.
Dream Ahead filly who has shaped with promise the last twice. More required off this opening handicap mark and although that is not out of the question, she hasn't shaped as though this extra furlong is needed.
Showed little on her first two starts over this trip but showed improved form at Wolverhampton over 5f, while still suggesting she needs further. On a reasonable mark and could be involved on handicap debut.
Possibilities off this mark based on two runs at the end of last year before a disappointing run at Wolverhampton. Got wide and probably didn't stay so every chance she can bounce back at this trip.
Tailed off on her third start at Wolverhampton and needs to improve on what we've seen so far on handicap debut.
Inconsistent on her last few starts but not far away at Wolverhampton and while looking risky, holds place possibilities off same mark.
Forecasts
Catapult (4/1), Violet's Lads (4/1), Minuty (6/1), Wind Storm (7/1), Your Mothers' Eyes (7/1), Eufemia (8/1), Reignite (9/1), Global Goddess (16/1), Speed Skater (16/1), Farump (20/1), Kath's Boy (25/1), Mystical Moon (33/1), Breezing (33/1), Paco Dawn (80/1)
A wide-open contest with many holding realistic chances of breaking their maiden tag. Catapult is likely to make it a genuine contest and shouldn't be far away again while slight preference is for SPEED SKATER, who seemed to get to grips of things on her third start while suggesting she now needs this extra two furlongs. Violet's Lads is frustrating but this C&D is ideal and she is unlikely to be far away.
- Speed Skater
- Catapult
