Scored from this mark at Kelso (2m1f, heavy) this time last year. Can't rule him out, but was well below that level on last month's reappearance, so needs to be much better here for the drop to this mark and also back in trip.
Very easy winner at Sedgefield last time (2m, soft), on just his second start for this trainer. Handicapper has put him up 10lb for that, so will probably need his best ever chase performance to follow up, but can't rule that out.
Followed up his Ayr success with a C&D win last time (good to soft). Up just 3lb for that, so no surprise to see him go very close again in this hat-trick bid.
Looked likely to have the measure of Mumgos Debut when falling at Ayr two starts ago. Underlined that theory with an easy 10L success back there (good to soft) latest. Up 12lb for that, and away from his beloved Ayr, so further questions to answer.
18-race maiden but has been competitive several times, including when 1¾L behind Mumgos Debut over C&D last time. 3lb better off with that reopposing rival, so enters calculations.
Won this last year under the same pilot (who has won this for the last two years), when 1lb higher (heavy). Ran well here over 2m4f last time (good to soft) and should make a bold bid to repeat last year's success.

Forecasts
Budarri (11/4), Las Tunas (7/2), Mumgos Debut (4/1), Rossmore's Pride (4/1), Whitsundays (8/1), Charlie Snow Angel (8/1), Duhallowcountry (50/1)
Another intriguing contest. Last year's winner Charlie Snow Angel looks well treated and can again go close, while Budarri has a chance of overturning C&D placings with hat-trick seeking Mumgos Debut, now 3lb better off. Las Tunas romped home last time, but a 12lb hike and racing away from Ayr leaves him a little bit to prove, and the suggestion is ROSSMORE'S PRIDE, who also dotted up last time and may have more to come for this trainer, despite a 10lb rise of his own. Whitsundays could also get heavily involved.

- Charlie Snow Angel
