Off the mark at the third time of asking over fences last time out when winning a beginners chase by 21L. Could be interesting on handicap debut.
Solid and consistent sort who has hit the frame in his last three starts over the larger obstacles. One for the shortlist.
Winner at Tipperary in May but failed to make the frame in seven starts since including defeat at Thurles earlier this month. Looks opposable in current form.
One from 17 over fences and recent lacklustre return at Gowran and later at Cork doesn't suggest any light at the end of the tunnel just yet.
Running well in a number of point-to-point starts in 2018 and is four from 25 over fences. Not getting any younger and may struggle here.
Winner of three of his seven starts over fences. Out of form over hurdles and the larger obstacles since return in November and has a bit to prove at present.
Form is a little hit and miss with a good run followed by a below par performance. Capable of a big run if in the mood.
Can be forgiven a first fence fall at Fairyhouse on Saturday and market likely to be the best guide here.
Well held on latest starts at Fairyhouse last month - despite finishing positions - but remains a potential improving sort and one to watch in the market.
Popular veteran who appears to be a little late to the chasing game. Well held on all three starts over fences and hard to make a case for.
Forecasts
Cresus De Grissay (9/2), School Lane (9/2), Carlitos Bay (9/2), Nicole's Milan (9/2), Tongie (9/1), Winter Magic (9/1), Freeway Space (10/1), Amaulino (14/1), Sir Ector (14/1), Pi Ahio (33/1)
While Freeway Space is sure to be of interest on handicap debut following a fine win at Clonmel when last seen in February, the Paul Nolan-trained CRESUS DE GRISSAY has been running well in defeat in a couple of handicaps over the larger obstacles and can fight off the challenge of School Lane and Winter Magic in the closing stages of the 3m contest.
- Cresus De Grissay
- Freeway Space
- School Lane
