Smart hurdler a couple of years ago where wins included the Betfair Hurdle. Didn't really seem to enjoy fences and ran creditably in fourth when returned to the smaller obstacles last time. Should play a part.

Very good second on comeback run at Chepstow and probably ran up to that on subsequent start at Cheltenham. Has soft ground form to his name as well so ticks enough boxes to be of interest.

Immediate impact when joining this yard with a pair of wins over 2m4f wins at Carlisle prior to not seen out the trip when trying 3m on return visit to that venue. Back over optimum distance so commands respect.

Weak in market on Haydock comeback and ran accordingly. Can pull hard so this step up in trip on first run beyond 2m isn't sure to suit.

Versatile regarding trip and ground and form last season would put him in the mix but missed a year prior to two recent runs and has to prove the ability still there.

Theo's Charmt135
Age: 9|  Weight: 11-0| J: Rex Dingle(5)| T: N J Gifford| OR:  130| BF

Has conditions in favour and does show some fair form on occasions but long losing run is building up and vulnerable for win purposes though first time tongue tie may help.

Supremely Lucky25
Age: 7|  Weight: 10-13| J: Bridget Andrews| T: D Skelton| OR:  129

Stiff tasks in graded company since scoring at Southwell and more realistic chance on this handicap debut but opening mark doesn't look particularly lenient.

Form has taken off recently under today's amateur and now seeking a hat-trick after a pair of soft ground wins including one here. More on his plate under 10lb rise in better race but clearly comes here at the top of his form.

Out of sorts at present and very hard to fancy with seemingly a better surface likely to suit him better as well.

Won a small field chase at Towcester last April but not firing this term over hurdles and hard to see him being good enough for this.

Age: 5|  Weight: 10-1| J: David Noonan| T: Tim Vaughan| OR:  117| BF| D

Dual winner in the autumn when still with Gordon Elliott though this is several leagues above the class of those races and now with Tim Vaughan.

Sam Chisolm18
Age: 6|  Weight: 10-0| J: Ben Godfrey(7)| T: S-J Davies| OR:  111

Improved when third at Bangor last time but opening handicap mark stiff and likely to be better suited by lower grade contests.

Forecasts

Burrows Park (11/4), Ballyandy (3/1), Point Of Principle (9/2), Theo's Charm (11/2), Supremely Lucky (8/1), Aspen Colorado (14/1), Malapie (16/1), Keyboard Gangster (16/1), Cold Shoulder (33/1), Melody Of Scotland (50/1), Tawseef (50/1), Sam Chisolm (50/1)

Verdict

Despite top weight BALLYANDY makes some appeal as he's still relatively lightly raced over hurdles and should be sharper for his Kempton effort. Back at his optimum trip Aspen Colorado looks a threat while if the tongue tie has an effect, Theo's Charm has the ability to take a hand.
  1. Ballyandy
  2. Aspen Colorado
  3. Theo's Charm
