Rise Bespoke Foods Novices' Limited Handicap Chase

Won on first two attempts under rules over hurdles a year ago but switch to fences hasn't worked out yet and plenty to prove at present.

Won a Point-to-point in 2017 and made successful hurdling debut over 2m3f in the mud later that year. Hasn't built but may do better now switched to fences

Both hurdle wins last spring were on good ground as was his chase debut at Catterick when caught on the run in having tried to make all. That showed he stays this trip and also has soft ground form in the past so one of the more likely ones here.

Still to get off the mark in 10 runs over fences though has shown ability quite a few times. Just a concern on previous evidence that this trip will stretch his stamina.

Plenty of form in handicap hurdles at just short of this distance last season but hasn't looked a natural in two goes over fences this term.

Takes plenty of driving but certainly knows how to win races and although his Hereford win last month has been let down by those he beat, he's not easy to dismiss off this 8lb higher mark.

Going chasing rather late in his career but consistent over hurdles and if he takes to this game he should play a part over a trip that looks sure to suit.

Plenty of experience over fences but form has taken a backward step in last three starts and although the handicapper has played his part, hard to know what he capable of at the moment.

Took a step forward on two previous runs under rules when second at Wetherby though hard to know whether to take that form at face value. Point-to-point winner so this longer trip may help.

Well backed at Wincanton but was hanging left all the and failed to run his race. Will be happier going this way around and clearly thought capable of better.

Slowly progressing in this sphere and gives the impression a real slog like this will suit so capable of taking another step forward.

Yet to beat a rival in three runs over fences and with stamina to prove as well it's not hard to look elsewhere.
