Had a productive 2017 but hit a slump in 2018. Has a good AW record and his stable debut, off a seven month break, was highly encouraging.
Has taken the last two runnings off marks of 87 and 88. Arrives with a similar preparation but with work to do off this mark.
Heavily supported on his return when failing to find the response his rider anticipated. Up 2lb but still looks attractively weighted judged on his early form.
Out of form lately but he is back down to a mark where he is more comfortable. Should get the run of things up front and capable of a surprise.
Has two wins and a second in three starts here but has been less competitive since stepping up in grade.
1-15 on the AW, and without a win since February 2017 (Doha). Comeback run did not suggest a return to form was imminent.
Inconsistent profile but on a nice weight judged on his Ascot success and AW second to Pactolus. Could bounce back with stable in such good form.
Nine-time winner who dead-heated in a weaker race 10 days ago and is now up to a mark from which he is yet to score. Others make more appeal.
Has an impressive record here but he was most disappointing last time when he started slowly and moved poorly. Cheekpieces on this time but he is best watched for now.
His only victory came over C&D and he has been second in two other starts. Off since May and yet to prove he can operate at this level.

Forecasts
Al Jellaby (7/4), Insurgence (13/2), Ballard Down (8/1), Chevallier (8/1), Florencio (8/1), My Target (17/2), Isomer (10/1), Key Player (10/1), Scofflaw (10/1), Mr Scaramanga (20/1), Sea Fox (25/1)
Plenty of possibilities in this with Isomer, Sea Fox and My Target all capable of better than latest efforts suggest. Chevallier has taken the last two renewals but he is not as well-handicapped on this occasion. Ballard Down has a good AW record and is attractively weighted on his victory in a valuable race at Newmarket in 2017, but AL JELLABY is just preferred. Adam Kirby's mount was the subject of strong support last time but he looked a bit rusty on his return from a break. He will be fitter here and is still well-handicapped on his juvenile form.
- Al Jellaby
- Ballard Down
- Isomer
