Newbury second on debut last March in a valuable bumper suggested she was well above average but return to action in a Huntingdon Listed contest saw her struggle. This race a good bit easier so expecting a much improved effort.
Frustrated in three point-to-points falling in each when still in contention and looked to have last one in hand. Bonus therefore that there are no obstacles here but yard winless in bumpers so far this season.
Cost €155,000 as a three-year-old. Half-sister to four winners including some useful ones and out of a dam who was a Grade 1 French winning hurdler. Ran on well for third on debut at Ludlow and sure to improve for that so leading chance here.

£62,000 daughter of Presenting made an odds-on favourite for debut at Lingfield but could only stay on for fifth. Green there so likely to improve plenty now albeit in a tougher looking contest.

Irish point-to-point winner made a pleasing start to her career under rules when a good second to Mega Yeats who looks a useful performer on debut at Carlisle. That form enough to give her legitimate claims here.

Robin Des Champs mare ran well for a while on debut at Huntingdon before stopping rather rapidly and tailing in 12th of 13. Something may have been amiss there so not ruling her out by any means but risky proposition here.

Made a positive start to her career when second at Newcastle on debut in an AW bumper earlier this month. Too early to quantify the form of that but suspect others to go well done so in hotter races.

Forecasts

Nonesuch (5/2), Hotter Than Hell (11/4), Methodtothemadness (3/1), Redbridge Gold (5/1), Parody (12/1), Toodlepip (16/1), Paris Dixie (16/1), Dancing Darcy (20/1), Bravantina (40/1)

Verdict

There is lots to like about NONESUCH's pedigree and there was also plenty of positives to be taken from her debut third at Ludlow against males so back against her own sex here she makes plenty of appeal for the champion trainer. Hotter Than Hell's Newbury form last season would give her an excellent chance and she is down in class after starting this term in a Listed contest. Redbridge Gold chased home a smart sort of Ruth Jefferson's who went well next in a Listed event before winning over hurdles on her rules debut so is another worthy of respect.
