Winner on the AW for trainer Andrew Balding but generally well held at double figure prices in three recent starts here for new connections. Plenty to find on recent offerings.

C&D winner and produced a promising performance when last seen here in November over 1m4f. Best form over this trip gives her a claim.

Six-race maiden for Mick Halford before joining this yard and well held on this surface in a couple of starts since March. Looks vulnerable in this company.

Fifth of 14 beaten over 11L on her sole start over C&D last month. Even her best form would probably leave her short of what is required.

Solid and consistent since returning to action last month, running well in defeat over 1m. Worth a check in the market stepping up in trip.

Ninth of 14 well beaten 15L on last appearance over C&D in October. Not disgraced in a couple of starts over 1m4f recently and one to watch in the market from leading yard at the track.

Struggling of late in a number of starts at this venue. First-time cheekpieces unlikely to trigger the required improvement to play a role in the finish.

Forecasts

Sleepy Head (7/2), Wild Shot (7/2), Maid In Manhattan (5/1), Yamato (11/2), Dayereh (9/1), Coach Bombay (10/1), Foza (12/1), Baratheon (14/1), Alhajjaj (16/1), Hes Our Music (16/1), English Pale (16/1), U S Navy Seal (33/1), Qasser (50/1), The Perch (66/1)

Verdict

The Pat Flynn-trained SLEEPY HEAD can get a decent pull in to the contest from the likes of He's Our Music and The Perch, before the six-year-old mare adds to her C&D win over 12 months ago. Wild Shot and Yamato appear to be genuine challengers, while Maid In Manhattan is worthy of a little consideration .
