Muthabir (7/2), Djin Conti (7/2), His Dream (4/1), Modern Warfair (9/2), Kilbrew Boy (5/1), Kk Lexion (8/1), Dreamsoftheatre (33/1)
A race in which a couple of the runners would've made a fair degree of appeal but for the presence of the smooth New Years Eve Warwick winner HIS DREAM. Jonjo O'Neill (who also saddles the less fancied veteran Dreamsoftheatre) has seemingly rediscovered the key to his 6yo Yeats gelding with a subsequent 8lb rise in the weights neither here nor there such was the manner of that most taking performance. Evidently a proven stayer on a sound surface, he's strongly fancied to follow up with those most likely to be fighting out the minor places being the handicap debutante Modern Warfair and the Richard Johnson ridden Muthabir.
