Fair third to Redicean over C&D last month, but recent display over 2m at Kempton was disappointing. Return to this venue and drop in trip should help, as should a 1lb lower mark, while the fitting of cheekpieces may eke out improvement.
Talented hurdler who has won his last two Flat races on the AW, latterly in impressive fashion over C&D. Up 8lb, but may still be ahead of the handicapper.
Runner-up to Redicean over C&D with Lord George and Primero behind. Has since finished third at this venue off the same mark and can race off 1lb lower this time.
Scored over 2m at Kempton in April, but was held off higher marks in two subsequent starts. Effective at this distance, but may need this first run since May.
Scored at Catterick in September, but was put in her place when last seen at Ascot in October. May do better after a break, but is 0-3 on the AW,
Forecasts
Redicean (5/4), India (9/2), Seafarer (5/1), Soghan (8/1), Primero (8/1), Lord George (8/1)
The C&D contest won by REDICEAN in which he beat Seafarer, Lord George and Primero holds the key to this handicap. The beaten horses are much better off at the weights, but such was the winner's authority that the placings are expected to be confirmed. Soghan may need this outing, while India has to prove her effectiveness on the AW.
