There’s unlikely to be a shortage of pace judged on previous racing styles so it’s worth treating this as being run at a true pace despite the small field. Spirit Warning is arguably the one to beat from his handicap debut but with the stable in such good form and the leading jockey booked, there is the likelihood that KENTUCKY KINGDOM will find the necessary improvement off his opening mark. My Dear Friend and Spirit Kingdom need to return to their early best.
