Below form since winning over C&D last March, and although he may have needed the run after a break here recently, he didn't show much.
Thriving this winter, and gained third win in four starts when beating Mercurly by 8½L over C&D last month (in cheekpieces). Hit with a massive rise in the weights for that, so will need to progress further to maintain his run.
C&D winner but on a long losing run, and hasn't yet gone on from a promising start for this yard having left Amanda Perrett in November.
Has won two of his last three on Fibresand at Southwell, and respected on form, although does need to prove he can hit the same heights on this surface.
Won over an extended 6f at Cork in May, and has largely remained in form since. Should bounce back from a slightly lesser effort over 7f here last time, and won't be far away.
Got back to winning ways dropped to claiming company over C&D last time, and chances on his best efforts, but others have more solid profiles.
Out of the places on all four starts here for current yard after leaving Paul Midgley, but hasn't got home over 7f the last twice, and is of interest returning to what looks his ideal trip.
Won a 7f maiden here last month, and unsuited by drop to 5f when a running-on fourth behind Amanaat recently. This intermediate trip should suit better, and she can make a serious impact.
Narrowly got the better of Ahundrednotout over C&D in October, and better than the result last time having been left poorly placed. Likely to bounce back, and one to consider.
Has won four times here, but losing run has stretched to 32 after latest modest effort, and others come with stronger credentials.
Running really well without winning in similar events at present (only blip when out of handicap), and again did best work late when fourth over 5f here last time. Could provide some value.
Back to her best when runner-up in 5f handicaps here on last two starts. Still on a decent mark, but slight worry about the return to 6f given the speed she shows.
Has won his share here over the years, but not seen since finishing last at Naas in October, and entitled to need this after a break.
Forecasts
View The Bay (11/2), The Right Choice (6/1), Snow Patch (6/1), Billyfairplay (7/1), Kasbah (8/1), Hee Haw (8/1), Smart Stinger (8/1), Dandys Gold (9/1), Lily's Prince (10/1), Clare Island (14/1), Captain Power (28/1), Togoville (28/1), My Good Brother (40/1)
Plenty to consider, with a strong pace likely to ensure a true result, and VIEW THE BAY makes most appeal with the step up to 6f looking a big positive after she caught the eye last time. Smart Stinger, Clare Island and Hee Haw are others who can build on recent promise, and are respected, although The Right Choice isn't sure to appreciate this trip on Polytrack.
