12-race maiden who has hit the frame on a couple of occasions over this trip. Well held over C&D last time, and blinkers reached for now.
Best effort when second on debut for David Simcock, and probably in need of the run starting out for new yard last time. Could well do better now handicapping.
Three of his nine career wins have come over C&D, and ran as well as could be expected in a seller at Wolverhampton last time. Not taken lightly.
Wins rarely, but tumbled in the weights prior to winning under this claimer over C&D last time, and did so with something in hand. Will go well assuming he's in the same form again.
Often in the frame here, but none too reliable overall, and well behind Northern Surprise after a slow start here last time. Others preferred.
Won an apprentice handicap at Cork in March, but well held on all four starts after a summer break, including on hurdles debut last time. Plenty to prove.
Winner of four of his 18 starts here including three over C&D, but she's been struggling for form on recent starts, and needs to bounce back after a break.
Not disgraced over hurdles in the autumn, but well held on both AW outings this winter, and has something to prove at present.
Shaped like the win was not far away when second of 14 beaten ½L over C&D in November, though failed to build on it after a slow start last time, and needs to break on terms if she's to capitalise on a fair mark.
Not much to cheer about last year, although has dropped to a potentially workable mark, and worth a market check for signs of confidence back on Polytrack after a lengthy break.
Lightly-raced sort, and improved on second handicap outing when runner-up behind Alwarda in a C&D event last time. Needs more to succeed here, but going the right way.
Sole win to date came in a 1m2½f handicap here in November. Creditable third over same trip last time, but drop back to 1m not certain to suit here.
Has won just once in 33 Flat starts, although that was over C&D. A few respectable efforts of late, including in a tongue-tie last time, but needs to raise his game to end a barren spell stretching back to August 2017.
Mixed record in winless 2018 campaign for Paul McEnery, but hinted at a revival on first start for new yard when 2½L fifth of 14 to Northern Surprise over C&D recently. Must show he can build on that, but of obvious interest from his reduced mark.

NORTHERN SURPRISE doesn't win often, but had a bit to spare when giving Emma Doyle a debut win here last time, and he will be hard to beat if she can get the same tune out of him again. Tynamite (who shaped quite well on debut for David Marnane in that race) and Suntory Times are feared most.
- Northern Surprise
- Tynamite
- Suntory Times
