Has failed to complete in two of his four chases now having produced one standout piece of form when second at Newbury last month. His jumping needs to improve for him to fulfil his promise although his aggressive style may suit this track.
Not the most reliable and showed very little in the early part of 2018 often weakening out of races very quickly. Back from a wind op last time and given a chance by the handicapper the song remained the same; one to be wary of.
Has found his form since being tested over fences falling when 5L clear late on at Ffos Las before narrowly failing to make amends at Chepstow last time. Still looks to be on a very workable mark and should make an impact here for an in-form yard.

Ended a long run of three years over C&D early last year in testing conditions and matched/bettered that form when winning at Warwick last time by 6L. Not had many chasing attempts but this is a higher grade and he pace pressure this time around.
Left his chasing debut well behind when winning at Leicester in March (2m, heavy) with his subsequent chase starts a rather mixed collection. Ran well on his return over C&D in a better grade and mirrored that run last time but offered little threat.
Forecasts
Air De Rock (10/11), Early Du Lemo (11/4), Lightentertainment (8/1), Kilinakin (9/1), Ut Majeur Aulmes (20/1), Exmoor Mist (25/1)
There looks to be a fair bit of pace on here with one or two of these having a love of being ridden from the front in their races. Lightentertainment was surprise winner at Warwick last time dominating a race from the front but that could be rather more difficult here as he steps up in grade off an 8lb higher mark. Early Du Lemo is another who likes to go on but he’s blotted his jumping copybook a couple of times now which tempers enthusiasm. The Venetia Williams yard remains in tremendous form (7-23 in the last 14 days) and her AIR DE ROCK gets a good opportunity to make up for being narrowly denied at Chepstow last week especially as he should get a good tow into the race.
- Air De Rock
- Lightentertainment
- Early Du Lemo
