Beaten favourite on his last couple of starts over the larger obstacles at Down Royal and Tramore. Sure to be popular in the betting once again but comes here with a warning.

Modest hurdler, now 0-3 over fences having being overwhelmed in a number of contests recently. Others look open to more improvement.

Poor handicapper under both codes and appears to be out of love with the game currently. Unlikely to play a part in the finish.

Betting

Forecast

Ticket To Ride (6/4), Gotaway (3/1), Glacial Shadow (8/1), Tara Mia (8/1), Golanbrook (10/1), Caoimhe Diva (12/1), Bard Of Armagh (14/1), Where's Me Jumper (28/1)

Verdict

TICKET TO RIDE has bumped in to a couple of smart types since St Stephens day but the Al Namix gelding can get off the mark at the seventh time of asking over the larger obstacles in an easier looking contest. The Robert Tyner-trained Gotaway and Glacial Shadow, on second start for tainer Thomas Coyle look the best of the rest who look a little out of form.
  1. Ticket To Ride
  2. Gotaway
  3. Glacial Shadow
