A two-time heavy ground winner over hurdles and ran okay on chase debut at Uttoxeter, finishing seventh of 16. Ground could be on the lively side for him here but he has a class edge over several of these. First start since wind surgery.
Had some fair form in point-to-point company last season but he's finished tailed off and pulled up on two subsequent Rules starts. His habit of jumping right won't help him around here and he may want a step up in trip.
Had been running okay over fences in a couple of starts at Cartmel when last seen and both hurdles victories came with good in the going description. Has plenty to find at these weights though and returns from a lengthy absence here.
Wide margin point-to-point winner back in 2017 and performed to a fair level over hurdles last season without winning. His two starts this winter have been poor but it's likely he will make in to a better chaser. Wears first-time blinkers.
Won back-to-back races last season in heavy ground and best efforts since have come with more cut in the ground than she will get here. Performed okay last time and jumps well enough; holds solid each-way claims if handling conditions.

Forecasts
Just Don't Ask (1/1), Minnies Secret (15/8), Niven (7/2), Storm Control (4/1), Jigcleaningus (25/1), Mistercobar (40/1), Noble Call (100/1)
JUST DON'T ASK could be a class above these rivals and while ground this quick is a minor concern, he's expected to have too much for these rivals. Niven would be the main danger to the selection in the unlikely event he runs here (ran at Huntingdon Friday) while Minnies Secret may prove best of the rest if she handles conditions.
